All parents

All parents are required to help regularly with the set up and pack up of gear.A lot of the gear is just too awkward and heavy to lift alone and it is not good for the children to be attempting to do this.Please dont just drop off or pick up your child from the gym come in and help for 5 mins and check in with coaches about progress etc.Waiheke Gymnastics is a community club so please do your bit to be a part of it.

The web site has all you need to know about the club.Fees,How to pay them,Classes and competition information ~ Including a calender of all this years competitions and registration forms for the current competitions.

PLEASE NOTE: Tumbling Competition on 5th April registration is now due and closes on 12th march .If you have not entered your child in this yet please go on line and download the entry form from the web site.
This must be given to Susan before the closing date on 12th March or your child will not be allowed to enter this Comp.

ROTARY  "KING OF THE BAY" Fishing Competition

We have been chosen as the major beneficary of this fundraising event.This is a huge opportunity for the club to raise funds for new equiptment.
We need lots of people to commit to a few hours each selling tickets for the fishing competition outside Woolworths
Dates :  Sat 21st March & Sun 22nd March
Sat 28th March  & Sun 29th March

I can not  stress enough how important it is for the running of the club to have extra funds coming in to cover all the expenses that the fees do not cover.At present ALL fundraising is been done by Susan and Kashka and they are unable to continue this job.Their job is to coach your children NOT organise the fundraising of the club.

We have at present 100 children on the clubs roll and it is unrealistic to expect our coaches to continue to give up their free time to do all the fundraising.We desperatly need parents to come on board and help contribute to the running of the club.

We currently depend on raising $20,000. per year to continue to run at our existing rate.

Coaches have lives and families outside of the Gym Club and we are expecting too much from them.Every one needs to do their bit or we are going to burn our coaches out!

We need someone with some skills to put togeather the advertising on the back of our newsletter and sell  the remaining spaces.This is worth quite a bit of money as a fundraiser so we would like it to look professional.We also want to sell advertising space on our new website so if you are any good at marketing amd can help please contact Kashka  372 3404

Club Tracksuits

Club Tracksuits

We have decided not  to sell competition tracksuits as most people found this too expensive .We will be hiring tracksuits out for the whole year at the rate of $20.00 hireage fee with an additional $40.00 bond held untill the return of the tracksuit at the end of year.This will be returned if the tracksuit is in the same cond as given ~ General wear acceptable but damaged tracksuits will need to be payed for.Extremely damaged or lost tracksuits will need to be replaced in full.Replacement cost is around $140.00 so Please look after our Club Tracksuits.
All tracksuits will be given out prior to your childs first competition when hirage and bond fee is payed.

Club Leotards

It is compulsory for all gymnasts to compete in a club leotard.These can now be purchased from Michelle Lemis 372 9225.We are about to put in an order for some more sizes so please phone her and order 1 as we only purchase what we need .We do not carry all sizes at all times .Please check that your childs leotard fits from last year and if you wish to purchase a new one the club can help to sell your old one for you.There are a small amount of second hand leotards available.
Please do not leave this till just before competitions start as it sometimes takes 4 weeks for an order to be put through.
