Recreation Classes

Kiwi Gym Fun

A recreation class for age 4 1/2 and above, which improves co-ordination, balance and confidence. Our Gymfun Programe is our beginner class for school age participants. We prefer participants to learn dominant movement patterns and acheive confidence before specialising into other programmes. The class is based on the National Kiwi Gymfun programme with a steady natural progression from levels 1-6.

Incentive Award Badge Class

 
The Incentive Awards Bagge is a Gymsports New Zealand Programme for non-competitive gymnasts. 

The levels offered at WGC are Grade 1,Grade 2, Iron, Bronze, Silver, Gold. and Elite.
The minimum age for this programme is 8 yrs.

Previous experience is not required, but prior experience in recreational gymnastics is recommended.

Gymnasts should be able to perform basic skills such as forward and backward rolls, cartwheel and handstand prior to joining this programme. 
If unsure about ability, please enrol for a recreation class.
